The are two different possibilities of sending Fictrix pen data to a connection/communication device.
In both scenarios the connection device can be the device where the information from the pen is to be processed, but it can also be the first link in a chain where the information is processed by other devices or on other platforms.
Regardless of how the information from the pen is transported there is a need for some sort of mechanism routing the information to the correct application. If all pen data generated from a pen should be provided to one and the same application the routing is more of a forwarder, while a more advanced routing mechanism is required if different pen data is to be sent to different applications.
The digital pen directly makes a digital images while completing the form and stores it in it’s memory. The transfer of data and images to the server can take place via two options: via a communication device with Bluetooth – for example a mobile phone, a PC or a PDA – or a docking station.
